Join us for the eleventh annual Hall of Achievement as we celebrate the distinguished careers of a publisher, a reporter, and a beloved SOJC professor.  The Hall of Achievement was created by the Journalism Advancement Council as a way to celebrate the history of the school and to better connect students with that history and with our alumni and former faculty.

In 2001, we expanded the Hall of Achievement to include a Hall of Achievement Student Fund. When the school’s Journalism Advancement Council first imagined the Hall of Achievement, the goal was to establish a program that would serve as an inspiration to our students and connect current J-school students with our great tradition. The Hall of Achievement Student Fund will serve as another connection and inspiration for our students. The program includes individual scholarship funds established to honor members of the Hall of Achievement and a general Hall of Achievement Student Fund.

If you are interested in attending the Hall of Achievement or you would like to make a contribution to the Hall of Achievement Student Fund, please contact Kathleen Larson, event manager.
