JCGSA is an informal organization for the UO SOJC graduate students. There are no dues or membership fees. The organization plans activities such as Brown Bag Lectures and Research Swap Shops, and helps keep members apprised of School information by reporting on faculty searches, Graduate Affairs Committee decisions, and faculty meetings.

Graduate students in the SOJC are automatically added to the JCGSA listserv e-mail list. This list has proved to be a good way to disseminate information, to stay in touch with one another, to extend party invitations, and more. You are encouraged to take an active role in the JCGSA. The 2009-2010 JCGSA officers are Greg Miller, president, and Marc Dadigan, vice-president, for the Eugene programs, and co-chairs Drew Hall and Mirabai Vogt for the Portland program.
